Crossville is a city in and the county seat of Cumberland County, Tennessee, United States. Just in the past year, this area has grown around 1.30% in people’s population. As of the most recent census taken, the Crossville area has an estimated population of around 62,084. Crossville Tennessee also covers an area of about 20.82 square miles. The city is located on top of the Cumberland Plateau by the streams of the Obed River. Crossville is around halfway in between the plateau’s eastern slope along Walden Ridge and its western slope along the Highland Rim area. This area is also known to be the 24th largest county in Tennessee.

The Crossville model railroad club is a widely known one and they are open to the public Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Thursday – Sunday during the hours of 12 PM – 4 PM guests are welcome to stop in, and Saturday the doors open at 11:00 AM. The Crossville Model Railroad Club is also a non-profit organization that is committed to improving the model train hobby. This place of entertainment has 5 out of 5 stars rated by people who have visited. Many say that they were highly impressed with the details of all the arrangements. The staff that works there were very nice and were very knowledgeable in each area that they talked and shared history about. If you are one that has been fascinated by trains since you were little, this is just for you. There are approximately 60 staff members that have put this together and keep up with it.
